Dayton, OH – Rick Summerfield and Seth Ricker recently joined the FEC Family.

Rick Summerfield joins FEC as a fire investigator.  Rick is an IAAI-Certified Fire Investigator and a retired Senior Special Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.  At the ATF, Rick was a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI), Certified Explosives Specialist (CES), and a former member of the ATF – National Response Team. Additionally, Rick is a graduate of West Virginia State University.  Rick brings over thirty years of fire investigation experience to FEC.

Seth Ricker joins FEC as a Forensic Mechnical Engineer.  Seth served as an intern and evidence technician with FEC since the summer of 2015.  After graduating from Ohio Northern University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Seth joined FEC’s engineering team.  Seth has experience and education in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, material science, mechanical design, manufacturing technology, electric circuits, and nondestructive testing methods.
